3D Eyelashes

3D Eyelashes(semi permanent) are one of the most talked about beauty treatments, they can offer women a solution to the fuller, longer, gorgeous lashes that they desire, and eliminate the need for mascara, so no more panda eyes! . Unlike traditional strip, cluster lashes or express lashes these lashes do not damage your eyes or make them itch, the lash extensions are adhered to your own single lashes  one by one  to create natural, sexy, dramatic, or even daring eyelashes! The choice is yours. The lashes feel weightless, you will not feel like you have anything on!

Procedure

Before your 3D lashes are applied to your natural eyelashes I will measure the length of your natural eyelashes to determine which length and thickness is suitable. A full set of 3D Eyelashes will take approximately 1hr 30mins approx to apply, I will issolate each natural eyelash using tweezers, then each synthetic silk/mink lash will be individually bonded to your own eyelash using a invisible seal that will give you long, thick lush lashes. This treatment is painless and many clients fall asleep during the treatment and wake up to gorgeous lashes. 3D lashes instantly open up the eyes, giving tired ageing peepers an instant pick-me-up which will take years off. 

How long will my lashes last?.

Depending on your own individual lash cycle and if the aftercare advise is followed 3D eyelashes will last the life time of your own natural eyelash, each natural eyelash has a life cycle of about 90 days approx but they are not long or strong enough to hold a extension till half way through their life cycle. If you want to keep your lashes looking full and fabulous you would generally have an infill every 2-4 weeks approx depending on the life cyle of your natural lashes, what size and thickness is applied and whether you follow the aftercare advice.
IMPORTANT!
This procedure should not be rushed, avoid technicians you state they can do full sets in 50mins and infills in 15mins, technicians who do this do not isolate each natural eyelash(express 3D lashes) they use the express method were they just glue the lashes on top of each other, this will result in a very messy look and will cause damage to your eyelashes. It is very important to see pictures of the technicians work to see the quality of their work before you book your appointment, dont persume that high priced salons will offer a properly applied set. 

THE PICTURE ABOVE SHOWS A VERY BADLY APPLIED SET OF 3D LASHES, THE NATURAL LASHES WERE NOT ISSOLATED(express 3D lashes), THERE WAS ALOT OF LASH DAMAGE, unfortunately this lady did not look at a techs before and after pictures , I can remove other technicians bad work and offer a new set. To get fantastic looking 3D lashes requires a high level of skill and experience, avoid newly trained technicians, introductory offers and cheap Groupon deals.

How many 3D Eyelashes are applied?. 

If you are shopping around, remember to ask how many lashes per eye you should expect to get with a full set, some lash technicians who state they offer full sets are only applying 30 lashes per eye, full sets are a minimum of 60 approx per eye.


Full set  - Natural, long, curly & flirty, the choice is yours!, minimum of 80 eyelashes approx per eye, depending on how many natural lashes you have,  applied one by one, £45.00 in studio or £60.00 mobile, duration 1hr 30mins approx.

Infills

If you want to keep your 3D lashes looking full and fabulous you will need a infill every 2-4 wks approx, this will depend on your natural lash cycle, what length and thickness of lash is applied, caring for your 3D lashes is simple, treat them with care, no rubbing and follow the aftercare advice given.

2 week infill- 40mins £20.00 in studio or £30.00 mobile, you must have 50% of your lashes remaining for a infill to be offered.

1hr infill- recommended at 3/4wks approx, £25.00 in studio or £35.00 mobile, includes removing outgrown lashes and applying new ones, you must have at least 50% of your lashing remaining for a infill to be offered or full set charge will apply.

Removal of 3D eyelashes applied by Elain is £10.00 or free if getting new set applied, removal charge for other tech work is £10.00.

Due to the demand for 3D Eyelashes all new clients will need to pay a £10.00 deposit to secure your appointment via by Debit/Credit card or Paypal, if 48hrs notice is given the deposit can be transferred to another date. Mobile visits are available within a 6mile radius approx from Melling and Cash is the only form of payment for mobile treatments or you can make card payment prior to appointment.

Before your appointment

  • Please if possible arrive with no make up on your eyes, however cleansing pads are available for yourself for you to remove your make up but refrain from wearing water proof mascara before your appointment.
  • Refrain from curling your eyelashes for 48hrs before your appointment.
  • You may want to remove contact lenses if worn, as your eyes are closed throughout the treatment.

Aftercare

  • Do not expose you lashes to heat(including sunbeds) or steam for 48 hours, failure to do this will result in loss of lashes.
  • Do not apply mascara to the lashes, this will cause them to fall out as the oil in the mascara disssolves the glue, mascara is hard to remove from the 3D lashes without damaging them and build up of mascara can cause eye infections.
  • Avoid rubbing your eyes and lashes
  • Do not use an eyelash curlers, these can damage your lashes.
  • Be gentle when cleansing the lash area.
  • Do not use oil based cleansers or make up removers..
  • Use eye makeup that contains no oils, as oil will dissolve the glue. 
  • Do not get your lashes wet for 48 hours after application to ensure bond is set. 
  • NEVER pick or pull at you lashes, If you want your lashes removing, this should be done only by a trained professional.
