Faceworks Microcurrent Facial
The faceworks Microcurrent machine is similar to the Caci with a strong microcurrent to achieve good results. I have used many different types of Microcurrent machines since I completed my training in 2005, after alot of research and demonstrations on different machines I am confident that this machine is one of the best available.
Those suffering from loose skin and loss of muscle tone - especially around the cheeks and jowls - as well as fine lines and wrinkles are often the ones who report the most dramatic results,also a great treatment before a night out leaving the skin more refreshed and tightened.
The procedure
During a typical treatment, which can last up to an hour ,I will use probes or rollers to deliver blasts of microcurrent to facial muscles, which in turn plumps out lines and revs up the circulation, exercising the facial muscles helps lift and return tautness to sagging skin, blasts of microcurrents are used to stimulate and strengthen muscle fibres.
While not painful, the current can be so high that it makes your skin tingle and some people who have mercury fillings have described a metal taste in their mouth during the procedure.
The microcurrent is also used to push antiageing ingredients, such as collagen, deeper into the epidermis .
How many treatments required?
Treatments vary, but as a general rule the 8-12 sessions (1-2 sessions per week) should be enough to tighten, tone and improve elasticity, while reducing fine lines and wrinkles. A follow-up treatment is recommended every 3-4 weeks to maintain results.
